A Word from the Owner:
It wasn't until my mid thirties that I was made aware of my "Gift for Hospitality". Others around me wanted to have Bible Studies, take mission trips, etc, etc., I was forever "Planning a Party". Then a dear friend explained to me that organizing and getting people together socially was indeed a challenge for many, but it seemed so effortless and rewarding to me. And that it indeed was a "Gift".
The reward for me was seeing that my guests were relaxed and enjoying the company of others commenting, "I have been so busy", "It's good to see you and catch up", "Let's get together for coffee". I am often referred to as a "net-worker", and a "connector". Taking the time to meet and get to know new friends is delightful, but watching others make those kinds of connections is just as wonderful.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, living in Hawaii, Washington D.C and Hilton Head, South Carolina has given me opportunity to embrace diverse populations and unique life adventures. I have traveled the "Tea Room Circuit" from coast to coast discovering that the tearoom experience is as diverse and unique as any. Just like individuals, you enjoy what each has to offer, without comparing any two of them.
I'd like to think that my "Reflections" Tea Room does reflect some characteristic of each of the many beautiful establishments I so fondly remember.
"Reflections" Tea Room & More is my gift to the Russellville, Arkansas community. For all that enter, may it be a time and a place for personal reflection...to refresh and renew.
"Lord, grant us moments of 'Reflections', that we may have clear perspectives and open horizons."
